Your
chance to help and support Warrington Gang Show
What is a patron?
It is simply somebody who actually enjoys watching young people rise
to the challenge of performing a show on a professional stage. A patron
is somebody who wants to actively support the show to make sure its
valuable work continues.
Often, a patron will be somebody who has been connected with the show,
maybe they have helped to organise or even appeared in one of our performances.
It could be a parent who has supported us for many years but now the
children have," grown out" of Gang Show they would still like
to be associated with us in some way. Or it could simply be somebody,
like you, who wants to show their support for the young people of Warrington.
What do I receive as a patron?
Firstly, you will be presented with a Patron’s lapel badge, which has the
show logo on it. These will be presented during the interval at the first show
you attend after becoming a Patron.
Your name will appear in the programme.
You will receive priority allocation of seats and special discounts for certain
performances.
You will be invited to any special events we arrange.
You will be invited to join the Production Team for coffee during the interval
in our hospitality room.
Why are you recruiting patrons?
There are two key reasons why patrons will become increasingly important to Warrington
to Gang Show. Firstly, it is a way of acknowledging those people who have supported
the show in a variety of ways, over many years. It is also an opportunity for
those people who are new to Gang Show, but want to be even more supported to
become a little more involved.
Secondly, to be totally honest with you, it's about money. Putting a variety
show on stage with a cast of over 100 and a further 100 plus helpers behind the
scenes can cost a lot of money. By becoming a patron and paying your membership
fee in October you help us to manage the cash flow in preparing the show, which
helps avoid us having to ask the Scout District for additional funds. Plus as
a patron with advance notice of the show dates and the discount incentive to
invite friends to the show we hope you will also help us to fill every seat,
every night. After all, it's the audience that creates the buzz, which produces
the best performance from the cast on stage.

What if I don't want to become a patron?
That's fine. We perfectly understand that not everybody will want to become a
patron, but that you may still want to support the show. You will be made very
welcome at any performance and as a member of the audience your support is vital
to the cast on stage and to the long-term development of Warrington Gang Show
How do I become a patron?
It's really very simple. Just complete the enclosed registration
form and send it to the address at the bottom of the form.
